If youāre like me, youāre already interested in learning how to start a garden. Or maybe you already have an outdoor garden going! But today I want to talk about hydroponic gardeningā¦ gardening without soil.
I started growing my own food as a way of guaranteeing the qualityā¦ I donāt have to rely on labels to know that my food is grown without GMOs and the use of harmful pesticides. I also know that no matter what happens at the super marketā¦ Iāll have a steady stream of fresh vegetables and fruit to support my family.
If you currently live off store-bought food, it is likely you are consuming GMOs/pesticides which can be detrimental to your health. More specifically, GMO/pesticide-contaminated food can cause immune problems, accelerated aging and allergies.
As I hinted atā¦ I want to be prepared in the case of an emergency. Food shortages, while rare, are still a real possibility. In addition to food kits, I think my garden will give my family the edge it needs to help survive any unknown.
As anyone whoās plunged into the world of home gardens knowsā¦ itās no easy task. Plants, surprisingly, donāt grow themselves. All you need is the right directionā¦
One of the biggest reasons hydroponics has become so popular is because recent studies on hydroponic farming have shown it to have many benefits.
Plants grown hydroponically are of exceedingly high quality, occupy less space, and consume fewer resources than traditional growing methods. Hydroponic techniques also makes it easy to grow large amounts of vegetables in small spaces or even indoors. This makes it easy to grow year-round food.
